    Professor Robert Jahnke, ONZM. Considered one of New Zealand’s leading contemporary Māori artists, Robert is a highly respected educator who works as an historian, teacher, researcher, writer and advocate for Māori and indigenous arts nationally and internationally. His current role is Professor of Māori Visual Arts at Massey University.

    Associate Professor Ngarino Ellis. Ngarino is a distinguished Māori art historian, author, and academic. She is the only Māori art historian employed at a tertiary level and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Auckland.

    Professor Ngatai Taepa is one of New Zealand’s most significant and innovative contemporary Māori artists. He has produced an impressive body of work that combines indigenous concepts with contemporary expression. Professor Taepa is currently Associate Pro Vice Chancellor Māori, Kaihautū Toi Māori – Director of Māori Arts at Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts, Massey University, Wellington.

    Facilitator Nigel Borell MNZM. Nigel is a well-known curator, writer, Māori arts advocate, educator, and artist, currently serving as the Curator Taonga Māori at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum.
